Ecclesiastes 11

Cast your bread on the waters, and after many days you will find it again. Give a portion to seven, and to eight; for you do not know what evil shall be upon the earth.

If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves on the earth; and if the tree falls to the south, or to the north - wherever the tree falls, there will it be. He who watches the wind will never sow, and he who fears the clouds will never reap.

Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is to behold the sun.

But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all: Let him remember the days of darkness, for they shall be many.
